The John Slaughter Ranch, formerly known as the San Bernardino Ranch, was owned by John H. Slaughter, a prominent figure in Cochise County who served as Sheriff from 1887 to 1890.
The ranch provides a window into the life of a turn-of-the-century cattle baron. Visitors can explore the beautifully restored house, wash house, icehouse, granary, and commissary, all set against a backdrop of stunning landscapes.

During the Apacheria Gravel race, an aid station will be set up at the John Slaughter Ranch. This will allow you to take a break, refuel, and immerse yourself in the historical significance of this remarkable location.
