Whether you’re a seasoned gravel grinder or a newcomer to gravel cycling, this event is designed to offer a taste of the adventure that awaits you.
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, March 23, 2024
- Time: Departing from The Gadsden Hotel at 9:45 AM
- Location: Douglas, AZ
- Route: South on G Ave, Left (E) on International Ave, Left (S) on Airport Road, passing the Border Air Museum, North on Airport Road, hard Right on Geronimo Trail.
What to Expect:
- Scenic Views: Immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of Southern Arizona. Our gravel race will take you through historic landmarks like the John Slaughter Ranch and the San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge.
- Support: Enjoy SAG support throughout the ride, ensuring you have a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Community: Connect with fellow cyclists and local biking groups. Share stories, make new friends, and enjoy the camaraderie of the cycling community.
- Coffee Stop: Recharge and mingle at the BlueBerry Cafe on G Avenue, where coffee and conversation await.
- Drone Filming: We’ll be capturing dynamic drone footage to showcase the excitement of the event and inspire future participants.
Returning to Douglas:
- Route Back: Riders will take a hard Left on Airport Road from Geronimo Trail, then a hard RIGHT on 10th Street, and ride to G Avenue. Finish in front of The Gadsden Hotel.
